In most cases, cruise lines will not allow you to board if: you have been unwell with confirmed or suspected COVID-19 or you have been in close contact with someone with confirmed or suspected COVID-19. Before you travel you will usually need to complete Health Questionnaire required by the cruise line (a few days before the departure) and provide all necessary pre-travel information.
Health and safety is the cruise lines' utmost priority and strict pre-boarding requirements will apply. Please check your cruise line's health protocols and vaccination/testing requirements before you cruise as they may vary depending on the operator.
NHS guidance states there’s no longer a need to self-isolate if you have been in close contact with someone who displays symptoms. However, should you test positive prior to departure or at the port upon embarkation, please note that you will be denied boarding. With this in mind, cruise lines request you to be mindful in the 14 days prior to your cruise. Should you begin to display severe Covid-19 symptoms, please contact 111 immediately.
