It is very important that you discuss the possibility of taking oxygen on-board with you before you book your cruise.
We will need to speak with the Cruise Line before confirming your booking.
Should you wish to book a fly-cruise and the Cruise Line has cleared you for travel, you will then be dependent on the regulations of the Airline. We do advise that you discuss this further with your GP before travel, along with obtaining the relevant certificates & documents (if required) and make sure any prescribed medication you are travelling with is in your name.
Passengers using oxygen are responsible for their own medical devices and their own supplies.
Rules are frequently changing regarding travelling with Oxygen tanks both onboard cruises and flying due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Whilst prior to the pandemic, Oxygen tanks/cylinders were allowed on board all vessels, the safety, and exposure of guests with respiratory issues have been taken into consideration.
Once we have checked the possibility of taking oxygen on board with our cruise line supplier, and your cruise is booked, our Special Assistance Team will send a medical form out to you 6-8 weeks prior to departure.
