On board accommodation
Every room and suite onboard features Ultra Tranquillity bedding and high-quality towels. Guests in Penthouse suites and above can also relax with robes and slippers. We’ll replenish your still and sparkling water daily, and you can enjoy on-demand movies and shows on your interactive TV.
Each stateroom has USB ports, 2-110 volt outlets (US) and 2-220 volt outlets (Europe) which can be used for items such as battery chargers, hair dryers, razors and personal hygiene items.
Wi-Fi benefits will depend on the type of cabin that you have booked. Penthouse suites and above will have 4 Wi-Fi log-ins. All other staterooms include 2 Wi-Fi log-ins.
Streaming is available at an additional cost for all cabin types.
All staterooms will be equipped with a room safe. Complimentary room service is available 24 hours a day.
What is the smoking and vaping policy onboard Explorations by Norwegian?
To keep everyone comfortable and safe onboard Explorations by Norwegian, smoking and vaping are only allowed in specific outdoor spots. You cannot smoke in any rooms, suites or on balconies. If you wish to smoke or vape, please use these designated areas: Forward starboard corner of the Pool Deck (Deck 9). Aft port corner of the Horizons Lounge (Deck 10). Please note that cigars and pipes can only be smoked in the outdoor area on the Pool Deck.
What is the dress code onboard an Explorations by Norwegian cruise?
Dressing for Explorations by Norwegian is all about a mix of comfort and style. We recommend packing smart, easy-to-wear outfits that feel polished yet relaxed. Please keep your swimwear for the pool area and use a cover-up when heading to lunch or walking through the ship. You’ll also need to wear shoes at all times while indoors. While there are no formal nights onboard, some restaurants do have evening dress codes. Faded or distressed jeans aren't suitable for dinner, and very casual items like t-shirts and shorts are only permitted in the Terrace Café or Waves Grill during the evening.

Grand Dining Room Enjoy elegant, sit-down dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Menus change daily to feature international and local flavours. There are no set times or assigned seats, so you can dine whenever suits you.
Terrace Café - This relaxed buffet is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It offers a wide selection of fresh dishes and global favourites with both indoor and outdoor seating.
Waves Grill - A casual poolside spot serving made-to-order classics like burgers and sandwiches. It's the perfect choice for a relaxed lunch or a quick bite during the day.
Speciality dining -
You can enjoy speciality dining as part of your Explorations by Norwegian cruise, with access to intimate restaurants throughout your trip. The number of included meals depends on your room category and the length of your sailing.
Cruises of 9 nights or longer:
All standard staterooms - 2 speciality dining experiences per cruise
Penthouses and above - 4 speciality dining experiences per cruise
Cruises shorter than 9 nights:
All standard rooms - 1 speciality dining experience per cruise
Penthouses and above - 2 speciality dining experiences per cruise
You can use your included dining at Polo Grill and Toscana on Regatta, subject to availability. We recommend booking ahead, especially for sea days. Any extra speciality meals can be booked once onboard for an additional charge.
Please note that included dining experiences cannot be exchanged for cash or credit if they are not used.
Polo Grill A classic steakhouse featuring premium cuts of beef, seafood and traditional sides, all served in a refined yet comfortable atmosphere.
Toscana - An Italian-inspired restaurant celebrating regional recipes and handmade pastas, perfectly paired with fine Italian wines.
If you are sailing for 14 nights or longer, you can enjoy our 'Special Dining Transformed' experiences. Halfway through your cruise, Toscana becomes a quaint French Bistro and Polo Grill turns into Lotus Garden Asian Fusion.

The minimum drinking age onboard Explorations by Norwegian is 21. Guests under 21 will not be able to purchase or consume alcohol onboard.
What if I'd like to purchase additional speciality dining experiences onboard?
You can book extra speciality dining outside of your included package once onboard. These are subject to availability and cost US$25 per person, per meal.
How can I see what events are happening on board?
Every evening on Regatta, we’ll deliver the 'Currents' daily newsletter straight to your room. This easy-to-read guide covers the next day’s activities, including guest lectures, workshops and entertainment. Our onboard schedule is designed to be simple and relaxed; you can use your printed guide to decide how much, or how little, you’d like to do at your own pace without needing an app. If you happen to misplace your copy, don’t worry—our Guest Services team will be happy to provide you with another one at any time.
Are there laundry and medical facilities on board?
Laundry
Explorations by Norwegian offers both dry cleaning and laundry services. You can choose full-service laundry for an extra cost, with regular or express options to suit your plans. If you prefer to do your own, there’s a free self-service laundrette with four washers, four dryers and two ironing stations.
Medical
You’ll find the medical centre on Deck 4 Forward of Regatta. Staffed by qualified international professionals, the team is ready to help with a range of medical needs. Please note that standard emergency room fees apply for treatments, and costs will depend on the specific services provided by the medical team.
What currency is used on an Explorations by Norwegian?
All prices and purchases made onboard are in US Dollars. Similarly, the cost of excursions is listed in US Dollars in all our guides and will be charged to your onboard account or credit card in this currency.
Is there a spa on board?
Guests in Club Balcony rooms and above enjoy access to the Aqua Mar Spa Terrace. This outdoor deck features loungers and a whirlpool, though it doesn't include the full spa. You can also enjoy the terrace if you book a spa treatment. To reach it, simply enter through the changing rooms located within the spa area.
Are visitors permitted onboard Regatta during a sailing?
To keep everyone safe and secure, visitors are not permitted on board while the ship is on a cruise.
