If sailing in and out of the UK, most cruise ships will allow you to take a reasonable amount of luggage on board, as you feel is necessary for your cruise, within sensible limits. You will have to store this luggage in your cabin. Please see individual cruise lines for specific details.

I also have a coach transfer and a flight, will my luggage allowance be the same as the cruise line policy?
If you have booked a fly cruise, you need to adhere to the baggage weight and dimension rules as set by the airline. Also, take care if doing a land-based tour as part of a cruise and stay package, or an internal flight on usually smaller planes which have reduced capabilities when it comes to baggage weight and size. For further information on airline luggage allowance, please read What is the luggage allowance for my flight?.
If you are using UK coach transfers to get to/from the Cruise Port, please note there may be separate weight limits per case, due to Health & Safety. Please check your tickets for details.
If you are not sure about any baggage limits with your cruise line, airline, or other transport operators as part of your journey, please see their website or FAQs for specific luggage policies.
