CPAP machines
This is not a problem so long as you bring your own equipment and carry in your carry-on luggage. Please notify us when making a booking of any CPAP machines that you will be taking on board. If you don’t notify us when making a booking, please let us know by emailing special.assistance@iglu.com and we will notify the Cruise Line. It is recommended that you bring your own extension cord to accommodate your equipment comfortably.
Oxygen
It is very important that you discuss the possibility of taking oxygen on board with you before you book your cruise.
We will need to speak with the Cruise Line before confirming your booking.
Should you wish to book a fly-cruise and the Cruise Line has cleared you for travel, you will then be dependent on the regulations of the Airline. We do advise that you discuss this further with your GP before travel, along with obtaining the relevant certificates & documents (if required) and make sure any prescribed medication you are travelling with is in your name.
Passengers using oxygen are responsible for their own medical devices and their own supplies.
Once we have checked the possibility of taking oxygen on board with our cruise line supplier, and your cruise is booked, our Special Assistance Team will send a medical form out to you 6-8 weeks prior to departure.
