Extended dry weather and high temperatures across Europe have reduced water levels on parts of the Danube, Rhine, and Main rivers. Consequently, certain stretches are currently running lower than standard navigation levels.
Lower water levels currently impact sections of the upper Danube (between Vienna and Budapest, as well as Regensburg and Passau near Pfelling). Portions of the Main and Rhine rivers are also experiencing navigation restrictions.
Our River Cruise suppliers are constantly monitoring river conditions and sailing schedules. To protect your holiday experience and minimise disruption, adjustments may include transferring to a sister ship, updating embarkation points, or providing hotel stays—keeping your itinerary as planned whenever possible.
If your upcoming cruise requires any itinerary adjustments, we will contact you directly with full details and support.
